Shangri La's Website Launched

I just finished the website for the (in)famous recording studio in Malibu, Shangri La. This upscale beachhouse getaway has been home to many legends since it opened it's door a few decades ago. It has been a great job as it called for the synthesis of design and function. I created an illustration, hobbled from numerous photographs, and created a landscape that captures the relaxed, yet creative and professional atmosphere. The site has many features including a three layered background and many foreground elements (a top layer being the palm tree's cast shadow), 360º panoramic studios view, amazon & cafepress store, 3d tag cloud, linked "easter eggs", slideshows, a twitter feed, and a slick sliding menu. The studio is very pleased. ~~Check out the site~~. Note: The management of the studio has changed and they opted for a complete other direction for the site. Although the site I did was well-received with much support and interest, it was taken down. It lasted just a couple months longer than Conan. Here is a link to how it looked, enjoy!
